This innovative system quietly extracts heat from the surrounding air and channels it to warm your water. It features a removable casing for straightforward cleaning and servicing, even in tight spaces. With a built-in manual element boost designed for high-demand conditions and solar PV readiness, it's the intelligent choice for water heating.

How it works:

  • A fan draws ambient air through an evaporator, efficiently transferring thermal energy to a liquid refrigerant, causing it to transform into a gas.
  • The refrigerant gas is then directed into a compressor, elevating both pressure and temperature effectively.
  • A condenser, functioning as a heat exchanger, circulates the hot gas refrigerant around the exterior of the water tank, effectively heating the water within the tank. The gaseous refrigerant reverts back to a liquid state during this process.
  • The refrigerant's pressure is reduced as it passes through an expansion valve, enabling it to return to the evaporator and restart the cycle.

The 220L Thermann X Hybrid Heat Pump is designed for residential homes requiring efficient, large-capacity water heating. This heat pump features a built-in 7-day booster element for additional recovery during high-demand periods and extremely cold temperatures.
