The Thermann X Hybrid heat pump, engineered in Germany for Australian conditions, offers an exceptional solution for efficient water heating. This innovative system extracts heat from the surrounding air, operating quietly while transferring that heat to warm your water. Featuring a removable casing for straightforward maintenance, even in confined spaces, it comes equipped with a built-in manual element boost for high-demand situations. What's more, it's designed to be solar PV-ready, making it a smart and eco-friendly choice for heating your water.

How it works:

  • A fan draws in ambient air through an evaporator, where thermal energy is transferred to a liquid refrigerant, transforming it into a gas.
  • The refrigerant gas is then channeled into a compressor, increasing both pressure and temperature effectively.
  • A condenser, serving as a heat exchanger, circulates the hot gas refrigerant around the exterior of the water tank, effectively heating the water within the tank. The gaseous refrigerant reverts back into a liquid state during this process.
  • The refrigerant's pressure is skillfully reduced as it passes through an expansion valve, enabling it to return to the evaporator and restart the cycle.
